Gear retraction is initiated three seconds after takeoff WARNING: It is important to reach VMCA2 prior to raising flaps above 15%. Raise gear and accelerate to flap retraction speed NOTE: Complete ESP as soon as possible to reduce dragĢ. Maintain directional control with flight controls and engine power as necessary Pressurization- Emergency Depressurizationġ. Parking brake- Set (not on side of hot brakes)Ĥ. If blockage is suspected but not verified, ESP is recommended.Ģ. If blockage is suspected, such as due to a bird strike, and verified by lower torque, higher TIT, ect., perform ESP. Retard throttle for the affected engine toward Flight Engine WARNING: If TIT is stabilized at 1083 degrees and throttle position is unrelated, see Engine Systems Failureġ. If this fails to eliminate the condition, place the condition lever to Ground Stop. Place the TD Control Switch for the affected engine in the NULL positionģ. Retard the throttle for the affected engine toward Flight IdleĢ. Start valve open light illumination in air (1700s)ġ. Place the affected bleed air regulator to OFF Move condition lever to Ground Stop for engineģ. Start valve open light illumination on the ground (1700s)Ģ.
